William Melvin Warrick, 84, of Burgettstown; Hanover Twp., passed away on Saturday evening April 15, 2023 in Cambridge Assisted Living, Wampum.
He was born on December 8, 1938 in Hanover Twp. a son of the late William Melvin and Margaret Piece Warrick Emler.
Bill retired from Weirton Steel where he was a truck driver and in retirement worked for the Hanover Township Road Department.
His wife Anna Belle Ervin Warrick, who he married on October 9, 1959 in the Atlasburg Church of the Nazarene, preceded him in death on May 24, 1995.
He is survived by his brother Carl "Boots" Warrick (Veronica June) of Georgetown and a half sister Mert Wolanski (the late Bob) of Bulger; his good friend who was like the son he never had, Mike Fleming (Lorraine) of Bulger; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his parents and wife are two brothers Harley "Doc" Warrick and Jack Warrick (surviving wife Juanita); two sisters Thelma Milocich (John) and Edith Coulter (surviving husband Bill); and a half brother Tom Emler (surviving wife Gladys).
Family and friends will be received from 2:00-6:00 on Wednesday April 19, 2023 in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. of BURGETTSTOWN where prayers will be said at 6:00 p.m. to conclude visitation.
