T. Scott Windsheimer

T. Scott Windsheimer, 68, of Burgettstown; Hanover Twp., passed away on Thursday evening April 30, 2026 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born on May 4, 1957 in Pittsburgh a son of the late Harry Joseph and Norma Louise Longstreth Windsheimer.

A 1977 graduate of the Burgettstown High School, Scott spent his entire working life on his family's Dairy Farm in Hanover Township.

Scott was an avid golfer, scoring two hole-in-ones.

He is survived by his three siblings Harry Ronald Windsheimer and wife Judy of Frankfort Springs, Judy Ann Byrd and husband Jim of Jackson, OH and Jerry William Windsheimer of Hanover Twp.; five nieces and nephews Benjamin Windsheimer and wife Melissa, Dana Jo Chandler and husband Christopher, Kelly Rena O’Keeffe and husband Brendan, Cindy Byers and husband John, and Jimmy Byrd and wife Tara; and 12 great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday May 4, 2026 in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021 where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday May 5, 2026 with his great niece Ella Chandler officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his parents in Robinson’s Run Cemetery, McDonald.

Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Frankfort Presbyterian Church, 3326 State Route 18, Hookstown, PA 15050 where he was a member.
