Shawn Patrick McLaughlin

Shawn Patrick McLaughlin, 59, of Burgettstown, passed away unexpectedly on Monday September 22, 2025 in his home.

He was born on January 24, 1966 in Pittsburgh the son of the late Raymond Thomas and Mabel Irene Palmer McLaughlin.

Mr. McLaughlin most recently worked for Jake Schneider Bus Company and enjoyed gaming, watching Star Trek, tinkering with his motorcycle and was very patriotic.

Surviving are his wife Tracy Lynn Denner McLaughlin; his four children Russell Baroni-Meyers (Emily Pobicki) of Burgettstown; Starr McLaughlin (fiance Shawn Curtis) of Langeloth, Autumn McLaughlin (Christopher Keepers) of Houston, PA and 3rd Class Petty Officer Shawn McLaughlin, U.S. Navy currently stationed in Virginia; grandchildren Orion, Carson, Everett and Valani Pobicki-Baroni, and Andrew and Alister Rothka; brothers and sisters Susan Yuhanjak, Sandra Pajewski (Hank), Annabelle McLaughlin, Christina Jeffers Marshal (James) and Linda Smith; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to his parents are two brothers James Yuhanjak and Dennis Lake.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Friday September 26, 2025 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. in the Slovan V.F.W., 65 Run Street, Slovan, PA 15078.
