Ruth Mary Gobleck

Ruth Mary Dovec Gobleck, 90, of Joffre, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 7, 2022 in her home with her brother and niece Loretta by her side.
She was born on October 5, 1932 in Pittsburgh a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Milnarcik Dovec.
A 1950 graduate of the Union High School in Burgettstown, she worked with her father Andy in his tailor shop on Main Street in Burgettstown for many years. She was a member of the Burgettstown Presbyterian Church and enjoyed crocheting afghans, her card clubs and bowling.
Her beloved husband Domenick F. "Mickey" Gobleck who she married on July 11, 1953 passed away on December 26, 2009.
She is survived by her brother John Dovec and wife Patricia of Weirton, WV; nieces Dr. Betsy Dovec and husband Aaron Wik of Orlando, FL and Dr. Christine Weld and husband Jesse of Dallastown, PA; and many cousins, great and great great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 2:00-8:00. p.m. on Monday December 12, in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc- BURGETTSTOWN, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021 where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday December 13, 2022 with her Pastor, the Rev. Cinda Isler officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Burgettstown.
