Russell Louis Fafette

Russell F. Fafette, 87, most recently of Weirton, WV, passed away on Tuesday June 14, 2023 under the care of Valley Hospice in Steubenville, OH.

He was born on January 20, 1936 a son of the late Russell Fafette and Meryl Malone Atkinson. 

After graduating from high school he earned his associates degree and had a long career as a sales representative in the Plastics Industry where he enjoyed traveling throughout the world.

Rusty attended the Burgettstown Presbyterian Church and besides enjoying traveling for work he also enjoyed golfing and talking politics.

He is survived by his son Brian Fafette of Michigan; a brother Robert Atkinson of Weirton; and his cousins Gary, Kevin and Jeff Malone.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Gay Taylor and his former wife and mother of his children Anna Marie Woodruff.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday June 24, 2023 in the Burgettstown Presbyterian Church, 1325 Main Street, Burgettstown, PA 15021. Inurnment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
