Roy Louis Stevens, Jr.

Roy Louis Stevens, Jr., 69, of Burgettston, passed away on Saturday evening January 28, 2023 in his home.

He was born on August 25, 1953 the oldest child of Mary Elizabeth Mitchell Stevens of Joffre and the late Roy L.  Stevens, Sr.

Roy worked for Conrail Railroad and retired from Golden Triangle Construction in McDonald. He enjoyed riding his Harley, and drinking a beer while spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his two sons David Stevens and wife Nicole of Burgettstown and Jeramie Stevens of Langeloth; three grandchildren Alexandria, Trent and Cooper Stevens; brothers Raymond Stevens (Robin) of Joffre, John Stevens (Marcie) of Burgettstown, Kenny Stevens (Laurie) of Slovan, Jimmy Stevens of Paris and Larry Stevens (the late Raina) of Burgettstown; two sisters Lisa Wasik (Bill) of Boomer, NC and Dorthy Ramacker (Tim) of Burgettstown; ad several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to his father is a sister Kathy Hone.

To honor Roy's wishes, there will be no public visitation and a memorial service is being planned for a later date.
