Robert (Bob) Panconi

He was born on December 15, 1951 a son of the late Adolph (Darf) and Mary Breska Panconi. An infant brother also preceded him in death. 

Bob was a 1969 graduate of Madonna High School and a 1974 graduate of Duquesne University School of Pharmacy. He was employed with Thrift Drug Co. until 1997 when he became a full-time caretaker for his mother. After her passing Bob joined the DeCaria Brothers Pharmacies being employed at their Diamond Pharmacy location in Wintersville, OH.

Bob loved horses and enjoyed his time at Mountaineer RaceTrack and The Meadows where he was known as "Hollywood Bob." He also enjoyed the dog races at Wheeling Downs. 

At Diamond Pharmacy Bob would entertain with stories of his life's experiences. He was not afraid to "tell it like it was!" His generosity was evident in so many ways, especially through the compassion he showed to others. He will be greatly missed. 

At Bob's request there will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00. a.m. on Saturday March 2, 2024 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of St. Isidore the Farmer Parish, 1109 Main Street, Burgettstown, PA 15021.
