Robert Layne Harris

Robert Layne Harris, 71, of Paris; Hanover Twp., passed away on Tuesday evening May 23, 2023 in his home after a lengthy illness.
He was born on October 3, 1951 in Paris a son of the late John and Naomi Caseman Harris who were both longtime teachers in Burgettstown.
A 1969 graduate of the Union High School in Burgettstown, he owned and operated his own trucking company. 
He was a lifetime member of both the North American Hunting Club and the N.R.A. And had a love of German Short Hair Pointers especially Rudy and Sarah.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 43 years Patty Noah; his cousins Dick Harris of Columbus, OH and Gary Harris of Georgetown; and many nieces and nephews. 
Deceased in addition to his parents is a brother Philip Harris.
Family and friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until the time of a memorial service officiated by Rev. Nadia Stropich at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday June 3, 2023 in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. BURGETTSTOWN, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021.
