Rita Wolanski

Rita Eileen Wolanski, 82, of Clinton, passed away on Tuesday morning, May 25, 2021 in Premier Washington Nursing Center.
She was born on October 14, 1938 in Slovan, a daughter of the late Charles Edwin"Peck" and Mero Thrapp James.
A 1957 graduate of the Union High School in Burgettstown, she worked for Colliers Steel in WV and RB&W in Sewickley.
Mrs. Wolanski was a faithful member of the New Life Worship Center in Weirton, WV where she enjoyed being with her many friends and enjoyed crocheting.
Her husband Thomas John Wolanski, Sr. who she married on November 16, 1963 passed away on August 29, 2006.
She is survived by her children Theresa Ann McCuean and husband Dennis of Chippewa, Thomas J. Wolanski, II and wife Cara of Paris, Debra Main and husband Barry of Washington; grandchildren Brandi Scalley (Greg), Bobby Handick (Gwen), Dylan Wolanski, Cody McCuean (Kayla), Kylie Main, Cynthia Crawford (Jesse), Brooke Boni (Dante), Seth Bonacci (Brooke), Gina Burns, Mallory Geyer (Joe) and Jessica Huckabaa (Arron); sisters Freda Ruse and Roberta Carter; and several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband is her son Phillip Stephen Wolanski and four brothers Ralph, Donald Paul and Howard James and sisters Lolita James Pirillo and Thelma Venegaz.
Friends will be received from 2:00-4:00and 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday May 27in the Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday May 28, 2021 with Pastor David Parker officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Grandview Cemetery, Florence.
