Rickey Lee Kerr

Rickey Lee Kerr, 70, of Cherry Valley, passed away on Monday morning January 8, 2024, after an 8 month illness, in Allegheny General Hospital. Pittsburgh.

He was born on March 14, 1953 in New Eagle a son of the late Elmer David and Irene Deuel Kerr.

A graduate of the West Allegheny High School, he worked as a heavy highway construction foreman for R.L. Construction in Gibsonia and was a proud 50 year member of the Laborers Union Local 1058.

Rickey enjoyed watching the Pirates and Steelers and his many Disney Vacations with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Nancy Bray Kerr whom he married on December 6, 1973; his three children William Kerr and wife Melissa of Darlington, PA, Rickie Lynn Kerr at home and Brett Kerr and wife Sarah of Cherry Valley; two grandchildren Aidan Kerr and Philip Pardee; and a sister-in-law Sharon Kerr of Canonsburg.

Deceased in addition to his parents is his brother Larry Kerr.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday January 14,2024 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services officiated by Pastor Steven Getchell at 3:00 p.m.  in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. of BURGETTSTOWN, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021.
