Rev. William L. Roemer

Age 80, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Niles, Ohio, on Saturday, January 6, 2024.  Beloved husband of Jean (Eisenbeis-Betschart) Roemer. Dear father of Douglas (Shellie) Roemer, Robert (Melanie) Roemer, Kelly (Scott) Vokoun and Jeffrey (Heidi) Betschart. Grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  Brother of John (Patty) Roemer and the late Barbara Scarney and Susan Roemer.  Rev. Roemer was a member of the Pittsburgh Presbytery and served in various churches in the Greater Pittsburgh area and beyond. He also mentored many Pastors in the area and was part of many church stewardships. Prior to entering ministry, Rev. Roemer worked for Wean United in their steel industry in various roles. Family and friends are welcome to a Memorial Service Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in Bethany Presbyterian Church, 740 Washington Ave., Bridgeville, PA 15017.
