Mrs. Phyllis A. Dunbar Loffert, 82, of Midway, passed away unexpectedly on Monday September 27, 2021 in her Winter Haven, FL home with her son by her side.
She was born June 9, 1939 daughter of the late Robert and Mildred Gardner Dunbar.
After graduating from the Midway High School she married Milton Buchanan Loffert and they raised their family on the Loffert Farm in Midway.
Together through their 56 years of marriage, Milt and Phyllis enjoyed traveling thorough out the country. After his passing on December 13, 2013 she enjoyed spending time in Florida while coming home to Midway to spend every holiday with her family.
Mrs. Loffert was a faithful member of both the First Baptist Church's of Midway, PA and Lucerne, FL.
She is survived by her two children Cynthia Loffert Frame and Douglas Milton Loffert and wife Cheryl; grandchildren Kaitlyn and Blake Frame, Ashley Dougherty and husband Chuck,Adam Miller and Rebecca Loffert; her great grandchildren who affectionally called her "Grandma Pishie" Mallorie Miller, Hudson, Layne K., Lenyn Grace and Hayes Dougherty. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Joyce Wagner Dunbar and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband is her brother Charles Robert "Dutch" Dunbar who passed away on May 26, 2017.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m on Friday October 8 in the Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021.
A Service celebrating Phyllis's Life officiated by her Pastor Ben Robinson will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday October 9, 2021 in the First Baptist Church of Midway, 210 Front Street, Midway, PA 15060.
