Michele Malone, 55, of Burgettstown, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday February 7, 2024 in Hertitage Valley Sewickley Hospital.
She was born on February 14, 1968 a daughter of the late John and Eulah Gould Shurer.
A graduate of the West York High School, she worked in the accounting departments for Asbury Heights Nursing Home and Mercy Providence Hospital.
Michele attended the Burgettstown Presbyterian Church and enjoyed reading, music, watching the Pittsburgh Penguins, going places she's never been before (especially restaurants), joining her husband and his brothers for Saturday morning breakfast, and most of all being with her family and grandchildren.
Her loving husband Jeffrey A. Malone, who she married on May 19, 1990 survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children Michael John Zeigler of Nevada, Bryan Thomas Malone and wife Sarah of Burgettstown and Heather Nicole Hoppe and husband Chris of Burgettstown; her six (and seventh to be born in May) beloved grandchildren Remi, Olivia, Mason and Everlee Torpey, and Hudson and Braxton Hoppe; a sister Connie Williamson and husband Jon of Nevada; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents is her brother John Shurer (surviving wife Ginger).
Family and friends will be received from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday February 16, 2024 in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. of Burgettstown, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday February 17, 2024 in the Burgettstown Presbyterian Church, 1325 Main St., Burgettstown with the Rev's David Dobi and Cinda Isler co-officiating.
