Mary Patricia (Harshey) McKinney

Mary Patricia Harshey McKinney, 68, of Atlasburg, passed away on Monday October 6, 2025 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born on June 1, 1957 a daughter of the late Frank and Lillian Ward Harshey.

Mrs. McKinney worked as an CNA and driver for the Washington County Health Center. She most enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her four children Donald L. Loughhead, Jr. and wife Amber of Burgettstown, Patricia R. Swan and husband Nathan of Burgettstown, Kenneth J. McKinney and wife Amanda of Burgettstown, Felicia McKinney of Burgettstown; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers and sister Larry Harshey and wife Debbie of Atlasburg, William “Candy” Harshey and wife Trish of Ohio and Sherry Harshey and husband Ray of Steubenville; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her dogs Rex, Jax, Miley and Max.

Deceased in addition to her parents are her husband Kenneth Keith McKinney, Jr. who passed away on December 17, 2017; brothers Frank Harshey and wife Pearl, Paul Harshall (surviving wife Lori); and sisters Dorothy Still and husband Butch and Violet Yates and husband Homer.

Family and friends will be received from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday October 9, 2025 in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services of Burgettstown, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021 where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday October 10, 2025. She will be laid to rest with her husband Ken in the Fairview Cemetery, Burgettstown.
