Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Cox

Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Cox, 95, of Paris, Hanover Twp., passed away peacefully on Monday evening February 27, 2023 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. 
She was born on December 2, 1927 in McKees Rocks a daughter of the late Steven and Mary Ezarik Wolanski. 
A devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, she was a huge Perry Mason and Pittsburgh Pirate fan. She loved sitting on her porch swing, cooking, crosswords and canning. 
Her husband Lloyd Cox passed away on February 4, 2004. 
She is survived by her sons David Cox and wife Carol, Lloyd Cox, Clark Cox, and John Cox and wife Joan Barnyak-Cox; grandchildren Wendy House, Dave Cox, Chris Cox, Russell Cox, Kari Cox and Stephen Cox; many great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law Vicky Cox; sisters Dorothy Cox, Irene Waitrak and Susan Kiger; and several nieces and nephews. 
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her daughter Joyce Adams and husband John; her son Larry Cox; brothers Joe, Herman, Steve, Tom, Bob and Philip Wolanski ; and two sisters Pat Cox and Dolly Roy.
