Margaret Steineman

Margaret Steineman, 87, of Paris; Hanover Township, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, September 6, 2021 in her home.
She was born on January 19, 1934 in the eldest daughter of the late Louis Lato and Anna Lato White.
After help raising her siblings, she spent her lifetime babysitting and a den mother for Boy Scouts. She was a top seller of Tupperware and enjoyed cooking, canning and singing with her husband especially her favorite song "Coal Miner's Daughter"
Her husband, George Norman Steineman, Sr. who she met on a blind date at Wheeling Downs and married on July 25, 1952 passed away on January 4, 2015.
She is survived by her loving children Gregory Steineman of Paris, Gary Steineman and wife Dianne of Burgettstown, Tony Steineman and wife Robin of Paris, Gerald Steineman and wife Tammy of Indiana State, Geromy Steineman of Paris, Geoffrey Steineman and wife Rose of Weirton, WV and Deborah Ann McDonald of Weirton, WV; 16 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband is her son George "Skipper" Steineman, Jr; brothers Sonny and Butch Lato and her sister Rose Trigg.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 in the Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021 in the Paris Church of the Nazarene, 9 Long Street, Paris, PA 15021 with Pastor Joe Ryan officiating. Everyone is asked to go directly to the Church of the Nazarene on Saturday morning. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Paris Cemetery.
