Margaret “Peg” Rose Wirth

Margaret “Peg” Rose Wirth, age 79, passed away unexpectantly on May 4, 2024. As her final gift, she helped countless others by being an organ donor.

Born on April 29, 1945 to John and Caroline Patterson in Pittsburgh Pa.

Peg attended St. Wendelin Catholic School until 8^th grade and graduated from Baldwin High School. 

Peg had many interests and hobbies.  She loved gardening, reading, cooking, baking and canning.  She also loved her cats.  Most of all she loved her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was married to her high school sweetheart Robert “Bob” Wirth who survives.  They were married 58 years. 

Peg is also survived by her children; Denise (Dave) Schmader of Clarion, Doug (Tammy) Wirth of Lima, Ohio and Tim Wirth of Bulger.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Matt (Suzie) Wirth of Lima, Brad (Bridgett) Wirth of Lima, Timmy (Rebecca) Wirth of East Liverpool and Danny (Hannah) Wirth of East Liverpool.  She has 6 great grandchildren, Maya, Colten, Everly and Abella Wirth, Ella Grace and Kaiden.

Peg had many friends and never knew a stranger.  She was kind, loving and a hard worker. Her friends and family will miss her dearly.

To honor Peg’s wishes, there will be a celebration of life at the convenience of her family.
