Lois J. McCutcheon Pavlik, 68, of Burgettstown; Hanover Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Saturday evening December 10, 2022 in the Weirton Medical Center.
She was born on July 27, 1954 a daughter of the late Francis and Margaret Jacobs McCutcheon.
A 1973 graduate of the Burgettstown High School, she worked as an EKG Tech and a the church secretary for Hebron Presbyterian Church in Clinton and Mt.Olivet Presbyterian Church in Aliquippa where she was also a member.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing and feeding her birds and most important to her was spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Her husband Michael J.Pavlik whom she married on February 7, 1975 survives .
Surviving in addition to her husband is her son Michael J. Pavlik; her daughter Jennifer York and husband Kevin; her three beloved grandchildren Madison Pavlik, Sarah and Joshua York; a brother James C. McCutcheon and wife Lila; sisters Margaret "Peggy" Burris and husband Bob and Marilyn Seibel and husband Keith; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents is her son Jason Blaine Pavlik; and two brothers Robert McCutcheon (surviving wife Kathleen) and Dale McCutcheon (surviving wife Mona Cumpston).
Family and friends will be received from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday December 14 in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. of BURGETTSTOWN, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021 where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday December 15, 2022 with the Rev. Dan Clark, Pastor of the Hickory U.E.P. Church officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her son in the Grandview Cemetery, Florence.
