Lewis Orison, Jr.

Lewis Orison, Jr., 95, formerly of Langeloth, passed away on Saturday morning February 8, 2023 in Calcutta Health Care Center.

 He was born November 22, 1927 in Burgettstown, Pa., son of Lewis and Nettie (Harshey) Orison. He and his late wife, Alice, owned and operated Valley Taxi Co. He was also a security guard for 40 yrs. at Union Electric Steel Co.

Preceding him in death besides his parents his wife, Alice in 1987, a daughter, Paulette Collins in 2019, and great-grandson Christopher M. Collins in 1991, two brothers and five sisters.

He is survived by one daughter, Lois Jean Orison (Dave) Ryan of East Liverpool, Oh., and a son-in-law Robert Collins of Burger Pa., two sons, John A. Orison of Oakdale, Pa. and Richard (Barb) Orison of FlorencePa.

Seven grandchildren, Tammy Collins, Vicky Collins (Denny) Cook, Dana Collins (Chad) Adamson, Justin Orison, Louie Orison, LaReina Orison (Adam) George, and Elysia Orison (Claude) Smith.

He also has eight Great-Grandchildren, four Great -Great-Grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
