Kenneth H. Marshall, 81, of Burgettstown, passed away peacefully on Monday morning August 12, 2024 in his home.

He was born on February 20, 1943 in Frankfort Springs a son of the late Elmer and Zula Ayres Marshall.

Ken attended Union High School in Burgettstown where he was a standout wrestler having an undefeated season with the most pins in school history in 1962.

Mr. Marshall worked as a heavy machine operator for J&L Steel in Aliquippa until the mill closed in 1983. He later worked for Billy Boys Pizza in Slovan where he met his wife Carol.

He is survived by his three children Kathy Coffman and husband James, Chris Marshall and Steven Marshall all of Burgettstown; two grandchildren Brianna Sophabmixay of Nashville, TN and Brad Clifford of San Francisco, CA; brothers Floyd Marshall (Patricia) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Robert Marshall of Carlisle; a sister Shirley Sabatasse (the late Tony) of Washington; a sister-in-law Alberta Marshall of Burgettstown; and many nieces and nephews.

His beloved wife of 29 years, Carol Ann Thomas Marshall, passed away on January 16, 2018.

Deceased in addition to his parents and wife are his first wife Patricia Bennett Marshall who passed away on April 1, 2017; brother Homer Marshall; sisters Ruth Yost and her husband Morrell and Margie Southerin and husband William; and a brother who died in infancy.

Family and family will be received from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday August 16, in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. of Burgettstown, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021.
