June Lee Watazychyn

June Lee Watazychyn, of McDonald; Robinson Twp., 91, passed away on Wednesday evening April 9, 2025 in her home.

She was born on June 1, 1933 a daughter of the late Victor and Sylvia Fornash Martinez.

A 1951 graduate of the Union High School in Burgettstown; she worked for Ramada Inn and the Pittsburgh International Airport.

Her husband Alex Watazychyn whom she married in 1953 passed away in September 1989.

She is survived by her two daughters Debra Barrett (the late Thomas) of Clinton and Shari Crawford (Robert) of Burgettstown; her son Mark Watazychyn (Sharlene) of Waynesburg; grandchildren Stacy Garcia, Jesse (Cynthia) Crawford, Michael Barrett, Cody Watazychyn, Shaun (Olivia) Crawford, 9 great grandchildren Alexis, Sergio, Anaya, Xander, Madison, Marley, Levi, Lennox and Alexandria; her brother Raymond (Jackie) Martinez; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband is a son Gary Watazychyn; a brother Victor Martinez, Jr.; and a sister Phyllis Breyer.

To honor June's wishes, services and inurnment will be held privately for her immediate family in the Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald under the direction of Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. of Burgettstown.
