Burgettstown
Johna Baker, 59, of Burgettstown, passed away unexpectedly on Friday February 23, 2024 in her home.
She was born on April 3, 1964 in Washington a daughter of the late John R. And Maryln Thomas Baker.
A 1983 graduate of the Burgettstown High School, she worked as a medical assistant for Hickory Family Practice and was currently employed by the Burgettstown Area School District as a custodian and was part of the Victory Lounge "family" in Hanover Twp. where she tended bar and was always the life of the party.
She is survived by her loving daughter Shauna Moore and husband Richard of Bulger; her granddaughter Maryln Moore; sisters Janelle Baker of Burgettstown and Tammy Jungfleisch (Greg Baker) of Eldersville and nephews Terry Diamond and Clayton Baker.
Deceased in addition to her parents is her former husband Lawrence Anderson.
To honor Johna's wishes, there will be no public visitation. A memorial service celebrating her life is being planned and will be announced at a later date by Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. of Burgettstown.
