John Henry Lyle, Sr.

John Henry Lyle, Sr., 90, of Burgettstown, passed away on Tuesday November 21, 2023 in The Greenery Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, Canonsburg where he had been a resident since 2018.

He was born on January 22, 1933 in Washington, PA a son of the late Wray and Alice Lyle. 

A veteran of the United States Navy, he served from 1952-1956.

His loving wife of 64 years, Lois Jean Diesel Lyle, who he married on September 16, 1954 passed away on August 30, 2018.

Surviving are his three children, John Henry Lyle Jr. of Huron, Ohio, Terry Yoho and husband Lester of Weirton, W.Va., and Antoinette "Toni" Lyle of Washington; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Ian Lyle and Melissa Krzysztof and husband Sam and Billy Yoho; and several nieces and nephews.
To honor Mr. Lyle's wishes, services and interment in Forest Lawn Gardens Cemetery, McMurray, will be held privately for his immediate family.
