Joanne Chastulik Toth

Joanne M. Chastulik Toth, 83, of Harmon Creek in Burgettstown, passed away on Monday morning, January 5, 2026 in TownView Health and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg.

A lifelong resident of Burgettstown, she was born on June 14, 1942 a daughter of the late John and Wilda Mae Campbell Chastulik.

Mrs. Toth was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Burgettstown and took great pride in gardening her flowers and landscaping around her home in Harmon Creek.

Her beloved husband of 60 years, Joseph F. "Snuffy" Toth, passed away on August 4, 2024.

She is survived by her two daughters Monica J. Toth-Nicholson and husband Mike of Pittsburgh and Andrea L. Tagliaferro and husband Mark of Burgettstown; her grandsons who she enjoyed more than anything Anthony Tagliaferro and wife Ally and Matthew Tagliaferro; a sister Joyce Walker and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to her parents and husband is a sister Mary Lou Whalen.

Family and friends will be received from 3:00 p.m. until the time of a Catholic Blessing Service officiated by the Rev. Harry Bielewicz at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday January 8, 2025 in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021.

She will be laid to rest in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
