Jeffrey Alan Sestric, 60, of Burgettstown; Hanover Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening, July 30, 2023 in his home.
He was born November 10, 1962 in Pittsburgh a son of Lillian Marie Whiteman Sestric of Allison Park and the late William Edward Sestric.
A graduate of the Hampton High School, he spent his career in the restaurant and catering industry as a chef.
He was a very knowledgeable man who enjoyed the outdoors and camping.
His wife Marcilene Belle Grey Sestric who he married in 2001 passed away on January 5, 2014.
He is survived by his two children Dylan Sestric and Cheyenne Sestric both of Burgettstown; five sisters Karen Sestric-Colpo and husband Gary of Somerville, South Carolina, Debra Kruper of Allison Park, Cynthia Sestric of Hickory, North Carolina, Susan Sestric of Allison Park and Lisa Sestric-Wheeler of Allison Park; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his father and wife is a brother Randall Sestric.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday August 4, 2023 in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. of BURGETTSTOWN, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Fr. David Perry will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday August 5, 2023 in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church of St. Isidore the Farmer Parish, 1109 Main Street, Burgettstown. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church on Saturday morning. Inurnment will follow Mass in the Grandview Cemetery, Florence, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory are suggested to the funeral home.
