Janine Boullenger Abate

 

On December 27, 2022 Janine went looking for country roads with no plan to come back. 

She was born Sunday August 19, 1928 in Darnetal France, the only daughter of Henriette and Rene Boullenger.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents are daughter Jeanne, loving husband Tom Abate, whom she met in Normandy France where he was serving his country in WWII.

 She is survived by son Joe Abate and wife Barbara, granddaughter Suzanne and husband Ryan Maroney, dear friend Jim Gibson and his sweet Lab LucyLu and many nieces and nephews. 

On Wednesday January 4 from 11:00am – 1:00pm there will be a memorial service with family and friends at Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. of BURGETTSTOWN (formerly Lee & Martin Funeral Home), 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021.  She will be laid to rest in Grandview Cemetery, Florence, Pa.
