James Andrew “Jim” Zilich

James "Jim" Andrew Zilich, 56, of Joffre, PA; formerly of Lakewood and Columbus, OH passed away unexpectedly on Thursday November 3, 2022 in his home.
He was born on June 24, 1966 a son of Jean Seles Zilich of East Liverpool, OH and the late Charles Carlo Zilich.
After graduating from Cardinal High School in Middlefield, OH in 1984 he served as an Armed Forces Military Police Specialist in the US Army. He graduated from Yavapai University in Prescott, AZ where he was an accomplished singer performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City. He also attended the University of Arizona and had a long career in the restaurant industry primarily as a manager for Hyde Park Steakhouse in Columbus and Cleveland, OH and currently at their Pittsburgh location.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his two brothers Charles and Matthew Zilich; sisters Dawn Zilich Miller and husband Kirk and Barbara Signar and husband Danny; and three nieces and two nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday November 10, 2022 in the Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021. Interment will be held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
