James Vincent Hall
4/21/87-12/11/25
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, James Vincent Hall, who was taken from us too soon on December 11, 2025, at the age of 38.
James brought immeasurable joy and happiness to his family and all who knew him through his kind heart, generous spirit, and selfless acts of service. Though his time with us was far too brief, the memories he created will be forever held close and cherished. James was born on April 21, 1987, in Weirton, West Virginia, the son of James “Jim” Hall Jr. and Delayne (Noah) Hall. He was raised alongside his three siblings—Melissa, Vance, and his identical twin, Justin (“Bubby”) Hall.
James’s childhood was filled with laughter, fun, and mischief, much of it spent with Justin and neighborhood friends who were truly an extension of his family. He attended Burgettstown Junior Senior High School, where he formed lasting friendships and memories that stayed with him throughout his life. In adulthood, James worked a variety of jobs, most recently for Brandon Farner and assisting Tom Progar. He approached every task with dedication, never turning away from work regardless of its size or challenge. Outside of work, James found great joy in his dogs—especially his German Shepherds—spending countless hours training, playing, and bonding with them. His natural ability with animals was unmatched, and he could earn the respect and obedience of any dog, including his aunt’s German Shorthaired Pointer, Sarah Marie. James also enjoyed watching movies and spending meaningful time with those he loved. He valued his relationships deeply and was always someone family and friends could rely on in times of need.
James was preceded in death by his identical twin brother, Justin Hall; grandparents Franklin “Moe” Noah, Marie Noah, and James “Dick” Hall; uncle Franklin “Buddy” Noah; and uncle Layne Harris.
He is survived by his parents, James “Jim” Hall Jr. and Delayne Hall; grandmother Barbara Hall; siblings Melissa Hall (Dave Davies) and Vance Hall (Lesley); nephews Tyler Boyer and Gavin Hall; aunts and uncles Patty Noah, Helen Noah, Joe (Kelly) Hall, Mary Kellar, and Susan Hall; and cousins Hallsy Kellar, Emily (Ron and Geo) Yaccich, and Olivia Hall.
Family and friends will be received from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021. A service celebrating the life of James Vincent Hall will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the funeral home, where all are invited to remember and honor a life that, though short, was truly a gift to us all.
James will be laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery in Florence at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made in James’s memory to his family, with a charitable designation to be determined at a later time.
