Irmhild (Hilda) Ursula Scott, 87, of Bulger, Pa; formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully yet unexpectedly in her sleep on Friday, October 25, 2024 in her home.
She was born on November 28, 1937 in Wasseralfingen, Germany the daughter of the late Babette Ursula Müeller and August Friedrich Schüssler.

After graduating high school in Germany, she met her future husband William Scott, Sr. while he was stationed in Nellingen, Germany while serving in the United States Army. They married in 1965 and moved to the United States, where they lived in many states and overseas while he continued to serve in the military. Staff Sergeant William Scott preceded her in death on 2014.

She was a homemaker until her children were school age. She then pursued a career in computers after completing several IT certifications. She retired at the age of 62 and cared for her husband until his passing.

She loved to garden and was a lifetime member of the National Home Gardening Club. Her other passions were cooking, reading, knitting and doing needlepoint.

She leaves in memory, two sons, William Scott, Jr., and Michael Scott, three daughters, Michele Sheperd, Juanita Scott and Gloria Gutierrez. One brother, Peter Müeller. Seven grandchildren, Paul Scott, David (DJ) Medlin, Jordan Medlin, Austin Medlin, Alyssa Graham, Malcolm Sheperd and Biko Sheperd. Nine great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Deceased in addition to her parents and husband is her brother, Klaus Nitsche.

Mrs. Scott will be laid to rest with her husband in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017.
