Henry H. "Hank" McClements, 86, of Hickory; passed away on Tuesday evening April 23, 2024 in Transitions Health Care in Washington.He was born on October 11, 1937 in Atlasburg a son of the late Mary Margaret "Peg" Polinski McClements.
A graduate of the Union High School in Burgettstown, he retired from Haywood Baker in Atlasburg where he was the shop foreman. He was a lifelong loyal parishioner of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bulger where he was active in all aspects of the church. An avid car enthusiast, he enjoyed going to drag races and taking his 1939 Ford Coupe to all the area car shows.
His wife, Joan Pompe McClements who he married in January 1960 passed away in June 2000.
He is survived by his three children Michael McClements and wife Terri of Clifton, VA, Lori Ferguson and husband Paul of Canonsburg and Scott McClements and wife Angela of Hyde Park, NY; six grandchildren Matthew and Erin McClements, Tyler and Jake Ferguson, and Gavin and Dane McClements; a sister Patty Harvey and husband Morris of Burgettstown; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his mother and wife is a brother Richard McClements and wife Carol.
Family and friends will be received from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday April 26, 2024 in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. of Burgettstown, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021 where departing prayers will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday April 27, 2024 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on St. Ann's Church of St. Isidore the Farmer Parish, 967 Grant Street, Bulger with the Rev. Harry Bielewicz as Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory.
