Harrison G. Lewis

Harrison Gregory "Skipper"  Lewis, 79, of Burgettstown, passed away on Tuesday evening October 17, 2023 in the Weirton Medical Center.

He was born on July 30, 1944 in New Kensington, PA a son of the late Harry Albert and Maryann Haracznak Lewis. 

A graduate of the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, he worked as a Dental Technician.

He is survived by his sister and caregiver Kathleen L. Esno and husband Phil of Burgettstown and niece, Jennifer Esno and nephew,  David Esno,

Inurnment will be held in the Fox Chapel Episcopal Church Cemetery at a later date.

Harrison was an Eagle Scout, a member of the deaf Lions, as well as a member of the Trinity Deaf Church in Edgewood. He was also a member of the Deaf Senior Center in Edgewood.

Since he was a lover of books, to remember Harrison in a special way donations  in his memory can be made to the Burgettstown Community Library or to the Burgettstown Senior Center.
