Gary Dean Pcsolinski, 72, of Langeloth, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, November 8, 2023 in his home.
He was born on July 1, 1951 in Erie Mine a son of the late Paul and Ruth Cline Pcsolinski.
A 1970 graduate of the Union High School in Burgettstown, he enlisted in the United States Army in serving from 1971-1973 in the 10th Infantry being honorably discharged a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal and several artillery badges.
Gary played and was an avid fan of fast pitch softball at the ballfield in Langeloth. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing and taking high rides around the area.
He is survived by his wife Anita Diane Cumpston Pcsolinski who he married on August 29, 1992; his three children Gary D. Pcsolinski II and wife Amanda of Erie Mine, Shauna Johnston and husband William of Burgettstown and Paula Pcsolinski and husband Jimmy Fordyce of Joffre; four grandchildren Savannah Pcsolinski, Logan Johnston, Miley and Peyton Fordyce; his former wife Barb Slopek and husband Bob; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his parents are two brothers Carl and Paul Pcsolinski.
Family and friends are welcome from 12:00 p.m. until the time of a funeral service officiated by Dr. Toni Harrington at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday November 11, 2023 in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. of Burgettstown, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021. Inurnment with full military honors will be held in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made in his memory to his family in care of the funeral home.
