They were always together and her Christmas wish was granted when she joined him in heaven just four months after his passing. Fran proudly moved into her new role as a Guardian Angel to watch over all of her family and friends. The matriarch of the family, she loved simply being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren no matter the occasion. She enjoyed having everyone at her house for holidays, birthdays, Spingis or just sitting on the porch talking. She was a devoted wife, mother and nana and showed unconditional love to each and every one of us. She was a role model to all of us. She was an extraordinary woman full of love, strength, kindness and beauty both inside and out. She also had wonderful friends with whom she loved spending time playing cards. She knew her cards and typically came home with a win! Thank you to those who made sure she always had a ride to card club! Frances also enjoyed trips to the casinos with her husband. In addition to raising her family, she was owner and operator of Lazzara’s Tavern for 18 years. She also worked at G.C. Murphy’s for many years as a young girl and later when she moved back to Burgettstown. She was a parishioner at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and a member of CDA and Christian Mothers.Frances remained strong in her faith and pleasant throughout her life and especially during her brief time of illness. Her quick wit and sense of humor continued to shine through. She was truly a joy to be around. Frances Anne will be sadly missed and will never be forgotten!
