Eileen Lucille Campbell

Eileen Lucille Campbell, 81, of Burgettstown; formerly of Paris passed away on Saturday November 8, 2025 in UPMC Washington Hospital.

She was born on January 4, 1944, a daughter of the late John Barish, Sr. and Julia Orgovan Barish.

A graduate of the Union High School in Burgettstown, she worked in the deli of Petrucci's Market and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of St. Isidore the Farmer Parish in Burgettstown.

Her husband, C. Joseph Campbell who she married on July 7, 1962 preceded her in death on January 3, 1992

After the passing of her husband, she found companionship for over 20 years with Joseph "Tony" Placidi, Sr. until his death in 2016. She became and remained very close with his children Debra Ann Slater, Cynthia Marie Placidi and the late Joseph Placidi, Jr. and their families.

Eileen is survived by her son Phil Campbell of Weirton, WV; her two grandchildren Kristyn Campbell (James Kikilidis) and Jarrett Campbell; her brother Richard "Lou" Barish and wife Karen of South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to her parents, husband and companion are two brothers John Barish, Jr. and Leroy Barish; and a sister Elaine Barrett.

Family and friends will be received from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 12, 2025 in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. of Burgettstown, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021 where a Blessing Service officiated by Fr. Harry Bielewicz will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday November 13, 2025. She will be laid to rest following the service beside her husband in the Chestnut Ridge Cemetery in Paris.
