Donald G. Collett, 87, Burgettstown; Cross Creek Twp., passed away on Sunday morning November 27, 2022 in the Emergency Department of the Washington Hospital.
He was born on August 16, 1935 in Cross Creek a son of the late Maynard H. And Elsie M. (Hendrickson) Collett.
He served in the United States Army from 1958-1960 and was honorably discharged a recipient of the Good Conduct Medal.
Don retired after 29 years from McGraw Edison. He served as Commander of the Burgettstown American Legion, loved watching all sports and woodworking in his free time.
His wife, Margaret A. Nice Collett who he married on May 30, 1968, survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughters: Tracey Collett of Arizona, Dana Spataro (Steven) and Dawn Skariot from PA.
Six Grandchildren: Natashia, Seth, Carley, Jesse, Roman and Dominic; eight Great-Grandchildren: Blaine, Nathaniel, Lilliuna, Lola, James, Colton, Brooklyn, and Seth Jr.
Deceased in addition to his parents are his Sisters Hazel Bowling, Alice Capers, and his brothers James Collett and Robert Collett
To honor Mr. Collett's wishes, there will be no public visitation. Inurnment will be held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville at a later date.
If so dsireddesired, memorial donations may be made in is memory to the American Cancer Society.
