Dolores M. Hughes

Dolores M. Hughes, 93, a resident of Brightwood Center in Follansbee, WV since 2015, formerly of Burgettstown, passed away on Friday February 10, 2023.
She was born on June 25, 1929 in Burgettstown a daughter of the late Marco and Caroline Bertacco Bruno.
A graduate of the Union High School in Burgettstown, she was a homemaker and parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
Her husband Vernon Hughes passed away on 1990
She is survived by her son Charles Hughes and wife Diana of Burgettstown; son-in-law Jim Granato of Weirton; grandchildren Jocelyn Hughes and husband Sean McKenna of Manila, Philippines, Jacob Granato and fiancé Hillary Jochum of Weirton and Jared Granato and wife Ashley of Kentucky; great grandchildren Maximus Daniel Granato and Auna Jochum; and several niece and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are her daughter Debra Ann Granato; brothers Peter, Primo, Secondo, Henry and Raymond Bruno; and sisters Angelene Dalfol, Eva Davis and Clara Kirin.
Family and friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a Blessing Service officiated by the Rev. Zachary Galiyas at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday February 23, 2023 in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. of BURGETTSTOWN, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021. Interment will follow in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
