David Gary Evans

David Gary Evans, 86,  of Oakdale passed away on Sunday October 30, 2022 in Stt. Clair Hospital, Mt.Lebanon.

He was born on December 17, 1935 a son of David Thomas and Nancy Evans.

A graduate of Johnstown High School, he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with degrees in Pychology and Sociology. He served in the United  States Army and worked as a Salesman for LB Foster Steel.

Gary enjoyed traveling, fishing and sharing a good story with friends at the pub.  

He was the beloved husband of Mary Jean Povero-Evans. He is also survived by his son David Steven Evans and wife Melanie of Quincy, IL; and grandfather of David Chandler Evans, Seth Andrew Evans, and Mikaela and Jackson Lilly.

He was preceded in death by his parents David and Nancy Evans and hshis daughter Robin Evans in 2014.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service to be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday November 2, 2022 in the Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery Chapel, Burgettstown.
