David Avetta

David L. Avetta, 81, of Atlasburg, formerly of Avella, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, October 27, 2021, with his daughter by his side. He was born on July 24, 1940, a son of the late Leo and Louellen Vicheck Avetta. David was a graduate of Avella High School, earned a degree from Pennsylvania State University and served in the United States Air Force.
On January 16, 1971, he married his beloved wife Marsha Gabrielli Avetta, who passed away on December 19, 2004.
He is survived by his daughter Stephanie Galizia and her husband Vincent; his granddaughter Tallulah Avetta; his sister Marylou Brosius and her husband Karl; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Deceased in addition to his parents and wife are his son Christopher D. Avetta and brother Leo Donald Avetta.
Family and friends are welcome on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 11:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 pm in the Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021.
Interment will be held at a later date in St. Michael's Cemetery, Avella.
