Bonnie Marie Duesenberry, 63, of Burgettstown, passed peacefully in her home Friday, October 10, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with brain cancer.
She was born on February 17, 1962, a daughter of the late Richard and Estella Crow Latshaw.
Bonnie married her sweetheart, Don, on Valentine's Day in 1986. Together, they raised 3 beautiful children, who blessed them with 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Before her diagnosis, Bonnie had a career in housekeeping at Weirton Medical Center. She loved being with her family and spending weekends at camp in Clarion, which then turned into months away at their home in Titusville, LF with Don and their sheltie, Sonny. Bonnie will be fondly remembered for her wit, her frugality, and her love of the Hallmark Channel, no matter the season. In addition to her husband, she wil be deeply missed by her children, Starlene (Ryan) Hoffman, Rich (Dorie) Duesenberry, and Kenny (LynnMarie Barnett) Duesenberry, as well as a daughter in-law, Cat Samstag.
She leaves behind grandchildren: Kira (Joshua), Kylee (Stefan), Karter, Abigail, Magnolia, Ryker, and Lucien; and great- grandchildren: Emerson, Kennedy, and Caden.
She is survived by siblings Glenn (Brenda) Latshaw, Josie (Tom) Pond, Minnie Crow, Robert Latshaw, and Eugene (Ruth) Latshaw, and many amazing nieces and nephews.
In passing, she is reunited with her brother, Sam Latshaw, sister, Patty Crow, and a grandson, Dimitri Duesenberry.
The family would like to extend sincere appreciation to the nurses and aides of Amedysis Hospice for their compassionate support and care during such a devastating time.
