Barbara Robert Zianni

Barbara Robert Zianni peacefully passed away on January 5, 2025 after a long, and well lived life. She was born on Aug. 11, 1938 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Emile and Mildred Robert, and grew up in the small community of Florence, Pennsylvania. 

After graduation from Westminster College she taught music to elementary children in the South Side Beaver School district. Her passion was for her church and music as she was the organist and choir director for many years at Montour and Mt Olivet Presbyterian churches. Family was the most important part of her life as she was married to Jack Zianni for 48 years until his passing. 

Barbara is survived by her two children, Cyndi Tuszynski (Derek) and Michael Zianni (Donna), and 6 grand children: Chantel Adkins (Lindsey), Adrianna Tuszynski, Mya Tuszynski, Halle Tuszynski, Christa Zianni and Matthew Zianni. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Emile Robert, Jr. (Carol).

There will be a memorial service for her at 11:00am on Saturday, January 18th at Mt. Olivet Evangelical Presbyterian Church at 4128 State Route 151, Aliquippa, Pennsylvania 15001. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to be sent to Mt Olivet Church (https://www.mtolivetepc.com/) in honor of Barb.
