Alan M. Beaudin

Alan M. Beaudin, 65, of Weirton, W.Va., passed away on Tuesday afternoon, May 7, 2024 in the Washington Hospital after a six month illness.

He was born on February 2, 1959 in Quebec, Canada a son of the late Dave and Jeanine Asselin Beaudin.

A 1976 graduate of the Western Beaver High School, he was a proud journeyman electrician for the IBEW Local #5 in Pittsburgh.

An avid Montreal Canadians fan, he enjoyed flying his drone, surfing the web, and spending time with his family, grandchildren and dogs Mickey & Minnie.

He is survived by his beloved wife Lori Cox Beaudin whom he married in 1987, his loving daughter Kasey Duran and husband Sam of Bulger, two cherished grandchildren Ayla and Lucas Duran; a brother Sylvain Beaudin and wife Val of Austin, TX; and two sisters Lise Platt and husband Randy of Ottawa, Canada and Danielle Starr of Orlando, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

To honor Alan’s wishes, there will be no public visitation and a celebration of his life is being planned for a later date.
